Description
Introduction and Mode of Action: Etoxazole is a contact and non-systemic acaricide belonging to the mite growth regulators (MGRs) group. It acts by disrupting the normal development of mites during molting, leading to their death.
Application and Dosage:
Crop | Pest | Dosage |
Apple | European red mite | 250-500 mL per 1000 L water |
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): The interval between the last spraying and harvest for apples is 21 days.
Application Method:
- Select and calibrate a suitable sprayer.
- Dissolve the recommended amount of pesticide in a small amount of water.
- Pour the prepared solution into a half-filled sprayer tank.
- While stirring, add the remaining required water.
- The sprayer agitator must remain active during preparation and application.
Precautions:
- Avoid ingesting, contaminating food and animal feed, skin and eye contact, inhaling spray particles, eating, or drinking during spraying.

Storage Conditions:
- Keep Etoxazole out of reach of children and animals.
- Store in its original packaging in sealed warehouses, away from sunlight, moisture, and livestock.
- Storage temperature: between 10°C and 35°C.
- Once the seal is broken, the shelf life decreases.
- Do not store the pesticide in aqueous solution form.
Poisoning Symptoms and First Aid:
Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, and vision disturbances.
- If the pesticide comes into contact with the face or body, immediately wash the affected area several times with soap and water.
- In case of poisoning symptoms, seek immediate medical attention and show the pesticide label to the doctor.
Environmental Toxicity:
- This pesticide has low toxicity to honeybees.
- Keep livestock and poultry away before spraying.
- Prevent grazing in freshly treated areas.
- Do not contaminate drinking water sources, including rivers, stagnant water, and groundwater, with the pesticide or its solution.
- Do not wash spraying equipment near rivers or flowing water.
Antidote:
- No specific antidote is available. In case of poisoning with Etoxazole, consult a doctor immediately.
