Description
Introduction and Mode of Action: Bromoxynil Octanoate is a selective post-emergence herbicide from the hydroxybenzonitrile group. This herbicide has contact action with slight systemic effects and works by interfering with electron transport in Photosystem II, inhibiting photosynthesis and destroying weeds.
Application and Dosage
Crop | Target Weeds | Dosage |
Wheat (Irrigated & Rainfed) | Annual Broadleaf Weeds | 2.5 L/ha (at the 2-4 leaf stage of weeds) |
Pre-harvest Interval (PHI): The interval between the last spraying and harvest must be at least 14 days.
Application Method
- Select and calibrate a suitable sprayer.
- Dissolve the recommended amount of pesticide in a small quantity of water.
