Description
Introduction and Mode of Action: This is a systemic fungicide with both protective and curative effects, belonging to the triazole group. Propiconazole inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungi.
Application and Dosage:

Pre-Harvest Interval:
The interval between the last application and harvest is 30 days for wheat, barley, and rice.
Application Management:
- Best results are achieved when applied at the early stages of the disease.
- This pesticide may cause sensitivity.
- For controlling sugarcane smut, immerse the cuttings in a 2 per thousand solution before planting.
Usage Instructions:
- Select and calibrate a suitable sprayer.
- Dissolve the recommended pesticide amount in some water.
- Pour this solution into the sprayer tank, which is half-filled with water.
- While stirring, add the remaining required water.
- The agitator must function continuously during preparation and spraying.
Safety Precautions:
- Avoid ingestion, contamination of food, and contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- Do not inhale spray particles or eat, drink, or smoke while spraying.
- Wear protective clothing, gloves, a mask, goggles, a hat, and rubber boots.
- Wash hands, face, and clothing thoroughly after spraying.
- Do not reuse pesticide containers.
- Empty containers should be disposed of away from water sources, following national regulations.
- Transport must comply with international hazardous materials regulations.
Storage Conditions:
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- Store in the original packaging in a sealed warehouse, away from sunlight, moisture, and livestock.
- Storage temperature: 10°C to 35°C.
- Once the seal is broken, the product’s shelf life is reduced.
- Do not store the pesticide as an aqueous solution.
Symptoms of Poisoning and First Aid:
- Symptoms: Headache, dizziness, nausea, and eye irritation.
- If spilled on skin or face, wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water multiple times.
- If poisoning symptoms occur, seek medical attention immediately and show the product label to the doctor.
Environmental Toxicity:
- Propiconazole is hazardous to bees, fish, and aquatic organisms.
- Keep livestock and poultry away from treated areas.
- Do not allow livestock to graze on recently treated areas.
- Prevent contamination of drinking water, standing water, and groundwater.
- Do not clean sprayers near rivers or flowing water.
Antidote:
- No specific antidote is available for Propiconazole.
