Introduction and Mode of Action: Penconazole is a systemic fungicide with both protective and curative effects. It belongs to the triazole group and works by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis in fungi, preventing fungal cell growth and reproduction, ultimately leading to their destruction.

Application and Dosage:

Pre-Harvest Interval:

The interval between the last application and harvest for grapes is 14 days.

Application Management:

The recommended application schedule for grapes includes three sprays as follows:

  1. One week after bud break
  2. After petal fall and fruit set
  3. 10 to 15 days later, if necessary

Usage Instructions:

  1. Select and calibrate an appropriate sprayer.
  2. Dissolve the recommended amount of pesticide in a small quantity of water.
  3. Pour this solution into the sprayer tank, which should be half-filled with water.
  4. While stirring continuously, add the remaining required water.
  5. The agitator must function continuously during preparation and spraying.

  • Avoid ingestion, contamination of food and feed, and contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.
  • Do not inhale spray particles, eat, drink, or smoke while spraying.
  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, a mask, goggles, a hat, and rubber boots.
  • After spraying, wash hands, face, and clothing thoroughly.
  • Strictly avoid smoking while spraying.
  • Do not reuse empty pesticide containers.
  • Empty containers must be stored away from water sources and disposed of according to national environmental regulations.
  • Transportation must comply with international hazardous materials regulations.

Storage Conditions:

  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.
  • Store in the original packaging in a sealed warehouse, away from sunlight, moisture, and livestock.
  • Storage temperature: 10°C to 35°C.
  • Once the seal is broken, the product’s shelf life decreases.
  • Do not store the pesticide in aqueous solution form.

Symptoms of Poisoning and First Aid:

  • Symptoms: Headache, dizziness, nausea, and vision disturbances.
  • If Penconazole solution spills on the skin or face, wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water several times.
  • In case of poisoning symptoms, seek medical attention immediately and show the product label to the doctor.

Environmental Toxicity:

  • This pesticide is hazardous to honeybees.
  • Keep livestock and poultry away from treated areas before spraying.
  • Prevent livestock from grazing in freshly treated areas.
  • Avoid contaminating drinking water, stagnant water, or groundwater with the pesticide or its solution.
  • Do not wash spraying equipment near rivers or flowing water sources.
