Introduction and Mode of Action: <\/strong>Clethodim is a systemic<\/a>, selective, post-emergence herbicide<\/strong> from the cyclohexanedione<\/strong> group. It is absorbed through the leaves and transported to meristematic tissues, where it inhibits the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme<\/strong>, preventing fatty acid synthesis in target weeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Application Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select and calibrate a suitable sprayer. Dissolve the recommended amount of herbicide in a small quantity of water, then add this solution to a half-filled sprayer tank. While stirring, add the remaining required water. The sprayer tank agitator must operate during both solution preparation and spraying.<\/p>\n

Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Avoid ingestion, contamination of human and animal food, skin, eye, or clothing contact, inhalation of herbicide particles, and eating or drinking during spraying.<\/li>\n
  • Wear protective clothing, a hat, goggles, a mask, boots, and non-permeable gloves during spraying. After application, wash clothes and body thoroughly.<\/li>\n
  • Strictly avoid smoking during spraying.<\/li>\n
  • Do not reuse herbicide containers. Empty containers must be stored away from water sources and disposed of in accordance with national environmental regulations.<\/li>\n
  • Transportation of this herbicide must comply with international hazardous materials regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Storage Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Store the herbicide in its original packaging, out of the reach of children and animals, in closed warehouses away from sunlight, moisture, and livestock.<\/li>\n
    • Storage temperature should be between 10\u00b0C and 35\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Once the herbicide seal is opened, its shelf life and effectiveness may decrease.<\/li>\n
    • Avoid storing the herbicide in aqueous solution form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Symptoms of Poisoning and First Aid:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, and vision disturbances<\/strong>. If the herbicide solution contacts the skin or face, immediately wash the affected area several times with soap and water. If poisoning symptoms occur, seek medical attention and show the herbicide label to the doctor.<\/p>\n
