Introduction and mode of action: Dichlorvos is a non-systemic, contact, digestive, respiratory, penetrating insecticide from the group of organophosphorus compounds. The action of this pesticide is to inhibit the enzyme cholinesterase in the nervous system of animals .
Cure period: The interval between the last spraying and harvesting is 3 days.

Application Management:
This toxin reduces blood cholinesterase levels and is prohibited for use in household insecticides. Do not spray directly onto growing cucumbers; spraying between rows is recommended. Avoid using other pesticides, especially sulfur-containing compounds, one day before and after spraying with this insecticide, as it has a burning effect on some types of chrysanthemums.
How to use:
First, select and calibrate a suitable sprayer. Carefully dissolve the recommended amount of pesticide in a small amount of water, then add this solution to a calibrated sprayer tank half filled with water. While stirring the solution, add the remaining required amount of water. The agitator of the sprayer tank should be running during the preparation of the solution and spraying.
Necessary precautions:
Avoid ingestion, contamination of human and animal food, contact with skin, eyes and clothing, inhalation of poison particles, and eating and drinking during spraying. When spraying, wear working clothes, headgear, safety glasses, mask, boots and impermeable plastic gloves, and wash clothes and body thoroughly after spraying. Smoking should be strictly avoided during spraying. Avoid reusing pesticide containers. Empty containers and packaging should be kept away from water sources and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with applicable national regulations. This poison must be transported in accordance with international regulations for the transport of hazardous materials.
Storage conditions:
Keep the poison out of reach of children and animals, in the original packaging, in closed warehouses, away from sunlight, moisture and pets. The storage temperature is from 10 to 35 degrees Celsius. If the seal of the lid is open, the service life and durability will be reduced. Avoid storing pesticides in aqueous solutions.
Symptoms of poisoning and first aid:
These include headache, dizziness, nausea, and visual disturbances. If you spill a poisonous solution on your face or body, immediately wash the contaminated area several times with soap and water. If symptoms of poisoning appear, contact a doctor and show him the poison label.
Environmental toxicity:
This poison is dangerous for bees and birds. Do not allow livestock and poultry to approach the treated area before spraying and do not allow livestock to graze in recently treated areas. Do not allow running, standing and underground drinking water to be contaminated with poisons and toxic solutions. Avoid washing spraying equipment near rivers and flowing water bodies.
Antidote: The antidote for this poison is atropine sulfate, dopamine and atropine bapam.
