Description
Introduction and Mode of Action: Tebuconazole is a systemic fungicide with protective and curative effects, belonging to the triazole group. It controls fungal diseases by inhibiting steroid demethylation.
Application and Dosage

Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
- The interval between the last spraying and harvest is 35 days for wheat and 56 days for canola.
Application Management
- Spraying should begin as soon as disease symptoms appear and before the infection reaches 5% coverage.
Method of Use
- Select and calibrate a suitable sprayer.
- Dissolve the recommended amount of pesticide in a small quantity of water.
- Pour this solution into the calibrated sprayer tank, which is half-filled with water.
- While stirring, add the remaining required water.
- The sprayer tank agitator should remain operational during both mixing and spraying.
Precautions
- Avoid ingesting the pesticide, contaminating food or animal feed, and contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- Do not inhale pesticide particles. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying the pesticide.
- Wear protective clothing, a hat, goggles, a mask, boots, and impermeable gloves.
- After spraying, wash clothes and body thoroughly.
- Do not reuse pesticide containers. Dispose of empty containers safely, away from water sources, according to national environmental regulations.
- Transport the pesticide following international hazardous material regulations.
Storage Conditions
- Keep out of reach of children and animals, in its original packaging, stored in a closed warehouse away from sunlight, moisture, and livestock.
- Storage temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C.
- Once opened, the pesticide’s effectiveness may decline.
- Do not store the pesticide in aqueous solution form.
Poisoning Symptoms and First Aid
- Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, and vision disturbances.
- If the pesticide comes into contact with the skin or eyes, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water multiple times.
- If poisoning symptoms occur, seek medical attention immediately and show the pesticide label to the doctor.
Environmental Toxicity
- Tebuconazole has moderate toxicity to fish and other aquatic organisms.
- Keep livestock and poultry away from treated areas. Prevent animals from grazing in freshly sprayed fields.
- Avoid contaminating drinking water sources, including surface and groundwater.
- Do not wash spraying equipment near rivers or running water.
